We are excited and getting married May 15th wooo 58 days away!

OK I changed my screen name because I realized that had my last name on it!! hehee.... anyways, I was married before (when I was 22 years old) and my sister was murdered and I had a baby all within 2 days of each other, so long story short... that was rough and we got divorced! I moved back home and started working and soon my my fiance at work! We have only been together now for a little over a year, but I seriously knew the first time we kissed he was "THE ONE!!"

We got engaged on Christmas Eve at our house, just me and him alone... it was perfect because we don't have much time alone with the kids (he has a 4 year old and an almost 2 year old and I have a 3 year old!)

We are getting married in St Thomas June 3rd and we are having a reception on June 26th so the kiddos can come and celebrate with us and wear their "princess dresses!"

Welcome to the board...I'm Keryn from Ohio.  This will be my 2nd marriage, FI's first.  I have 3 kids (15, 13, and 9) and FI has none...but he wants to start working on that as soon as possible!  lol

So sorry to hear about your sister. I lost my brother almost 37 years ago, and it still hurts.

We live in Michigan, and aren't getting married until August 2011. We met on E-Harmony in August 2007. He has 3 kids from 2 different marriages, two of whom are adults. I have 2 kids, never been married, and mine are 23 and 15.

It's truly a mish-mash of people here, but it's a wonderful board. It's nice that your children are young, because they will probably have less issues than the teens do (ie my daughter).

I'm fairly new too but am already addicted to the board, i think. I'm Lori from Tennessee. second wedding for me, first for FI. i have 4 boys (17, 15, 15, and 11) and he has none. Yes I think that might mean he is crazy. Or i am wonderful, one of the other.

So sorry about the loss of your sister, That certainly was a lot to deal with, and i'm glad you got through it.

I've been to St Thomas for a wedding - that heart shaped bay (Megan's bay i think?). Gorgeous. Best part: odd european men in speedos who joined us for wedding cake.
