XP: AW DIY weekend (and yes, it's FLUFF, LOL)

spent the weekend doing a bunch of DIY and can't wait for the AW day!

This is the floral pomander for the flower girl to carry. Got the foam-ish roses at a dollar store, look so real!

This is one of the wreaths for the chapel doors, if we can put them up....... not sure because it's an historic site. Crossing my fingers. Made with the sola roses from save on crafts, with some baby's breath in the clearance aisle at Joann's.

These are my flip-flops, purchased at Wal-Mart with some beaded trim and flowers from Joann's.

Bridesmaid flip flops I got for $1 long ago at Michael's, with some flowers and beaded trim from Michael's. (Not a great pic, but they look pretty good).

    Very nice!

Now you need to open up an Etsy store and make those flip-flops!  Too cute!

Awesome Sue, I love the wreath, I wanted to make one, but crossed it off my list. My DYI skills aren't that good and I had enough with the invites.

I've already been joking with my fiance and my kids, my next career is "DIY-budget-expert-wedding-planner-go-fer".

I was just in a local bridal store tonight, looking for "MOB" dresses for my Mom. They are charging over $150 for HEADPIECES that I know they got online from www.rhinestonejewelry.com for less than $10 each. I know this because I got mine from there. I mean, this is a capitalist country, but seriously.......a 15 times markup? I pity the fool that doesn't know how to use the internet!
