FI's Back!

After two weeks away to be with his father through his wife's final days, her death and immediate aftermath, my FI is back.  I am happy, happy, happy!  In catching up, we both agreed it was odd to be apart for so long, especially with both of us going through very stressful episodes without one another right there.

It's good to be back to "normal," whatever that is ... yahoo!

Yeah, they had some very tough days.  I have been through the end-of-life process with loved ones and it is SO tough; I just wanted to hold his hand.  His dad made it through and decided, in rather short order, that he's moving back to Pittsburgh (from FL) ... so FI spent most of the 2nd week cleaning, shredding, throwing away stuff, giving away stuff, etc.  He's exhausted!

We had a nice weekend together (too short, too short!).  I'm really looking forward to "date night" on Tuesday, when I'll get to see him again.  Yay!!

Thanks for sharing your happiness!  Weekends are always too short, but yours had to seem even shorter than most!  Date nights are always fun and so important with everyone being so busy.  Enjoy it!
