Gifts and kiddos

Newbegining

Question... My future SIL and BIL are getting married in a month. It is a second wedding for both of them, he has 3 boys, 11mo, 3y, and 6y. And she has one of each, 5y and 7y. They are very tight on funds and want to include them but they financially are unable too. My Fi and I want to give them all a gift to include them, and my question is what do u give 11mo to 7y olds that they will appreciate now and later... I thought a necklace for the girl 6y, but for the boys??? I'm lost, I really like the idea of pocket watches but will they remember them and really giving an 11mo something like that seems kinda silly... I have no idea what is 'in' right now as far as fad toys goes and I want it to be a surprise for Mom and Dad...

Maybe one gift they can enjoy as a new family?  Do they have waterparks or anything like that near them?  Or something like a Wii?

Ditto the Wii.  The baby isn't really going to care, but the Wii is something they can play as a family.

How very nice of you to do this for your SIL and BIL!!  I agree with the Wii idea or something they can enjoy as a family. If you want to get the niece something that is just for her that would be nice too.  Little girls are more into weddings than boys, the boys I have been around like leggos, games or things to keep their hands and brains busy.

I would give them each a treasure box with the date on it. Boys LOVE treasure boxes to hide their most beloved items in. It is the type of thing some boys hold onto for their entire lives.

THanks so much ladies... oddly enough I spoke with her mother and ended up going with pilloe pets... they had all been saying how much they wanted one.. it has a hit for all of them.
