I just wanted to share with you ladies my wedding monogram! I made it this morning.

I want to use just the 'C' on cards and things after the wedding as my personal stationery (I love to write letters). What do you think?

Can you share with us how you made it?  What program?

I used Adobe Photoshop. But there are tutorials on how to make monograms using Word, Publisher, Powerpoint and GIMP. I did a Google Image search for wedding monograms and found some that I liked and gave me an idea of what I wanted mine to look like. After several attempts, the one above is what I decided on.

If you are printing this, you will want to make whatever program you are using save the file in at least 300 dpi resolution. This way if you make it bigger it won't look pixelated and won't get blurry when you make it smaller.

Use free font sites to find pretty fonts you might want to use. The ones that I looked at fonts for my design are

The Knotties on the DIY board are also quite helpful with monogram creation.

Thanks, I think I'm going to try something like that.  Still not sure what I'll use it for, possibly just our stationary.
