This weekend, my FSIL drove 3 1/2 hours up here from South Jersey to surprise me only to drive another hour and a half back in to Manhattan for dinner and a Broadway show.
We had a great time, dinner and drinks at an Irish Pub ( gotta love it), On our way through Time Square, we got caught up in a Bridal party and their festivities. It was incredible. Hundreds of people crowded around the bride and groom as they made their way up the stairs in front of the building where the ball drops to throw her bouquet. It was tossed back and forth to the crowd a few times then everyone made a human arch and the bridal party walked through as everyone cheered. Total strangers making a memorable experience for the new couple. Only in New York!
To top it off, FSIL came by yesterday and we worked on the labels and raffia ties for the apple butter jars (favors).
Dinner and drinks at an Irish Pub - Love it!
Broadway show - Wonderful
Walking around Time Square @ midnight - A BLAST
Future Sister In - Law - PRICELESS
What a great weekend, Hope everyones plans are going smoothly. It won't be long now.
