Same screen name.  Don't remember which board I hung out on, I think mostly Advice for Brides and Etiquette.  That's why my joined on date is 2001....don't know why my old post count didn't carry over though....

I don't remember the boards I used to frequent, but I do recall them being very straightforward. As well as correct. Oddly, women I had never met knew that my marriage wouldn't last, even when I didn't.

No knot in 1986 - we had to do all our research using these paper things called magazines!  Age - 10 days shy of 23, OMG, looking back - I was so young (mentally, emotionally, physically) but I thought I was super mature.  What the hell was I thinking?

By the sounds of it the knot wasn't around in the 90's and I was first married in 1993 at the age of 21 and planned everything like I am now in less than six months - I know insane lol

I can't remember for sure what my screen name was, some variation of what I have now. That was in 2005. I got engaged in January and got married in October. I had just turned 21.
