I am at work on a firm holiday. And I'm sick.  'Nuff said.

I need to B&M today. It snowed last night, but instead of fluffy snow, our neighborhood was covered in a thin sheet of ice. It took me half an hour to get out of my neighborhood because there are several hills and my tires could not get any traction. The main roads and highways are fine, but it still took another 45 minutes to get to work. And, since it's not supposed to get above freezing, I'm really nervous about getting home this afternoon. I'm tempted to just park at the gas station and just walk the 1/2 milk to the house. Ugh, I'm officially ready for winter. I'm so glad I'll be in Dallas this time next week!

My B&M is for www.bloomstoday.com. I ordered flowers for my baby sister Friday morning to be sent to her at school the same day. They called me about 5 times telling me they didn't have the flowers I wanted, they were too busy to deliver her flowers that day, etc.
So now her flowers won't be getting to her till tomorrow. I ordered these for her because 1, she has been busting her booty to pass algebra and got a 94 on her test on Friday. And 2, she's never been given flowers before and I wanted to make her feel special.

I realize it was V-Day weekend, but come on!

ugh.....I need to book a photographer and the main ones I want are already booked!! I know I waited awhile but this is so stressful!!!!!!! Pictures are one of the most important things to me and its stressing me out the most!

Hopefully I find one.

This weekend was great except the fact we just got power on last night and it went out Friday morning. it sucked because I had to take showers at FMIL and FBILs. It was uncomfortable. Alex was so good to me and it was our anniversary! We had alot of plans but with the power out it took away some of those. But it was still a good weekend and it was fun at first with no power because we joked around, sat by the fireplace and listened to the radio.

Sarah, check out www.ebandphotography.com. We originally booked her for our wedding, but because of our budget got cut, we couldn't use her. If you speak with her, tell her Marlene sent ya. She's really amazing. She did our engagement pictures and I am still so in love with them!

I'm with Stephie:  because we had a bad weather day on Friday, we have to be here today.  Kids are not here because their families had already made plans.  It's quiet so I guess it's not that but Bill is home and I'm not.

*Sarcasm on* I'm glad we were *allowed* to take a sick day this month while the boss deemed herself worthy of 2.  Of course this is the same boss who hogs all the raises each year and gives them to herself...why am I surprised?  She just never lets you go too long without knowing where you stand.

I'm sorry some of you are having to work this holiday, especially when you are sick.  I hope today is a breeze for you all and not too much hard work.

Sarah- I know you are stressed to the max but don't rush to find one just to find one.  Pictures are important and I wish I would have researched them a little more before deciding.  If you feel like posting your price range for the photog, maybe we can make some suggestions

I have fallen so far behind wedding planning.  I still have some big vendors to book, it is just well a nightmare, with as long as I have been engaged you would think it would be easy breezy by now but that is not the case. I just don't have the time during the day, and by the time Fi leaves for work it is already 5 o'clock. People say they will help and don't. I am down now! lol

Today was my first job for the job and I am so tired. What's strange is that it's not from waking up at 5:45 and driving 45 mins, its the fact that I had to sit down all day long from 8 til 4.
