Long Train??

What is considered a "long" train, which is supposed to be bypassed for a second wedding? The gown I've selected has a "semi-cathedral" train. Will I get a raised eyebrow from Ms. Emily Post?

Train length doesn't matter anymore...if you want a 25 foot train, go for it! But a semi cathedral I think is a perfect length.

The gown I have my eyes on has a semi-cathedral train also. I dont see a problem with it at all.

Emily Post died in 1960. The most recent (fifth) edition of Emily Post's Wedding Etiquette was written by Peggy Post, her great-grand-daughter-in-law. The section on attire for the encore bride is only 236 words. And, "train" isn't one of them. :-)
