AW: FI's wedding outfit (PIP)

I finally bought all the ties for the guys in the wedding. We decided that the best thing to do to save all the groomsmen (and us, of course) money, was to have all the guys wear a black suit with white collared shirt that they already own, and then just buy the ties that would color coordinate best. We had some difficulty because the ties we wanted from JC Penney stopped being sold, but I found out that Men's Wearhouse had ties on sale for 19.99 each, and they were buy one get one free. So I went ahead and bought them all! So when I got home I made FI put on his ensemble, so I could double check how it looked and make sure there was no reason I needed to take anything to the cleaners. Here's the result :)

There he is, my handsome FI. Although the tie isn't tied very well. In about a month and 3 weeks, I'll be walking down the aisle with him at the end of it. I can't wait. :)

    Awwwww!  that's awesome!

which reminds me - we gotta figure out something for my FI to wear.

    he's threatened the following:

    1. body paint - apple red for his belly and a green worm... (sigh...)
    2. naked
    3. Elvis pantsuit - preferrably the white rhinestone one.

yeah.  I'm thinking kahkis and a nice shirt are on my short term to do list!

    He looks great!

We're going this weekend to get FIs suit tailored.  I wasn't there when he picked it (but I did buy the ties).  I'm anxious to see it all together!

Thanks everyone! LOL at shytownkelly, sounds like your FI can be a handful like mine :)

I actually had to tie his tie for him in a half windsor, and then put it on him, because he kept tying it in a four in hand knot which just looks silly and unpolished. He insists that that's how people tie ties out here, which may be true for day-to-day work, but NOT for a wedding. That knot there isn't my best work but it's sure as heck better than HIS knots, lol! I've since tied his tie exactly the way it needs to be, and hung it up so all he has to do is just pull it tight and straighten it out come the day of.

LOL. He looks like a little boy dressed up for church on Easter, and NOT happy about it (but then most men don't like posing for pics).

You got a great deal! congrats!
