Signing Christmas Cards.

My fiance and I have our own houses.  We're getting married 5/29/11.  My three kids live at home; he has 2 of his kids living at home.  How do we sign our Christmas cards?

That's how we signed our Christmas cards last year!  Except those to our immediate family!

Oooo ... I'm in a similar situation.  So, even though we do not live in the same household, we should send our Christmas cards with a joint signature?  Hmmm ...

    This is my opinion....

If I was living separate from my FI, my xmas cads would be signed by me and my children, and then if he chose to send cards, his would be from him and his children.....

I live with my FI, so our cards this year will read from both of us.....last year they were separate, but we were not engaged...

Of course, its always personal choice, but if you consider yourself a "couple" then IMO it is slightly odd to send out two sets of Christmas cards.   I don't understand the logic of having to live under one roof to send out cards as a "team, family or group."

I agree with Debi on this. I have always sent Xmas cards to my close friends and family for years........fiance, not so much, LOL. He's started to send them, but just since he met me.

Last year, for his siblings and aunts/grandma,  I send them with all our names, ie his name, my name, then our kids in chronoligical order. This year, for everyone, since we are getting married in August, and sending our STD's with the cards, I will probably send them to both our lists, and sign everyone's name.

Since FI and I have lived together, we have signed our Christmas cards together to family/friends that know us as a couple.

When we were not living together, I sent out mine with my family on it - my kids and me, and he sent out his with his name.

After this Christmas, it will be "Mr. and Mrs. S and kids"!  Yeah  - cant wait!
    Anniversary
