CRUISE WEDDING/VACATION

A few family members and friends will be joining us next May when we get married in St. Thomas while on a cruise.  It is not the first time for either of us.  Although I've worked on cruiseships I've never been a passenger.   We realize the investment our guests are making to attend.  I don't want to impose on their vacation more than necessary after the wedding (second day of the cruise).  We have one planned excursion other than the wedding on a 7 Night cruise.  Would you do more?

The wedding day details are covered I just don't know what to do before and after??

Don't do anything.  My cousin and his wife planned their wedding around a cruise family vacation.  They married on a Saturday, and on Sunday, 50 family members sailed off.  It was wonderful.  We were seated together for dinner, but spent the days on our own, mingling in different groups and exploring the many islands.  This was great because I never felt that there was only one "thing" going on.  I could travel with family to beach, or join a different group on a rum tour.

Best of luck to you and congratulations!

Are you hosting the planned excursions?  If not, I would consider the additional cost of the excursions for your guest.
