Our reception venue (PIP) - let's see yours!

I know we're all planning such different things on this board, so I thought it'd be fun to get a look into what each bride-to-be is doing this time around.  We just took these on Monday night, after our final tasting and menu choices.

This is the ballroom without anything "special" done to it.  Our linens will be in alternating black/white and white/black and we'll have a few other extras thrown in.  I love that it looks so nice with nothing at all done to it, though!   So, where is your reception?  Photos?

I told him to not get me in any photos - but there I am!

We are still undecided about the location of the Destination Wedding that we are planning (right now, we are between three particular locations) but we have already the place where our Italian reception will be held in Lake Como; it will be in Bellagio, at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni and attached are some pictures of this romatic location!!!

I love them all!  Everyone has picked such fantastic locations that suit them (from what I can tell through posts online, that is) so well!

Hilton Head Island - we vacation there every year. We're going to our regular spot where we've had so many wonderful experiences. Getting married on the beach, turning a burger joint into a rockin reception.

I tried & tried to get my pics to post, didn't work. I used the Knot's FAQ on how to post, didn't work. Anyone want to help with step by step instructions LOL

Sue!!!  Click on that little tree thingy,  then search your computer for the pics you wanna post.  Once you find them click save and it should show in your post.  It's pretty simple.  I hope you figure it out!  Can't wait to see!

We had two reception venues:  one for right after the ceremony in Massachusetts, and one for our at-home reception back in DC.  For Massachusetts, the private dining room of a Legal Sea Foods:

For DC, a club that is a converted warehouse.  Definitely not prepossessing from the outside, but the inside looked very nice after we decorated it:

Oh, F it! We are getting married in a historic village, called Greenmead.

click on the links to see the pics. First is the nondemoninational chapel, with lovely stained glass windows on the sides. Second is the banquet room in the old historic home. Last 2 are the gardens on the property, which is HUGE. They have a lot of other historic buildings here, so we can have pics taken all over.
