    I voted pecans.  They are creamier and more versatile.  I like them salted, sugared and spiced.  I like them in salad and in cookies.  I love the praline flavor.  Pecan pie is like heaven on earth.  They are meaty and delicious. 

    However...a world without macaroons would be a sad place.  ~Donna

    Love Almonds - but as soon as I clicked "vote" I wanted to change to Hazelnuts.

    I love the flavor of hazelnuts with coffee - every day to be clear.

    I don't like nuts all that much so I voted other, lol. I'll eat peanuts though, do those count? :P I only like hazelnuts in my nutella, and almonds in my honey bunches of oats cereal, and that's about it. :)

    This came up because my husband and I were chopping nuts for our oatmeal.  He prefers pecans, I like walnuts.  I do love hazelnut coffee, though.  Creme de Noisette is tough to get, but wonderful.

    Donna, I share your fondness for pecans!

    There are many reasons I love Thanksgiving, but way near the top fo the list is that it is the one time a year I make Kentucky Chocolate Pecan Pie.  I <3 pecans, dried cranberries, and chocolate chips together.  Pecan is almost always my nut of choice!

    LOL good one Handfast!! 

    We prefer pecans for cooking and such.  I am allergic to walnuts, and the DH doesn't like them at all.

    We have several pecan treess in our yard.  They make a HUGE mess.

    We have walnut trees and they sap all summer, and then walnuts start to fall in those hard green shells.  Need a hardhat to sit out on the deck or duck, and that's if you can actually get up after being stuck on the chair from the sap.
