F/U to my question

I know this is fairly quick to have a follow up post but I'm excited and wanted to share the news.  After reading all of your responses I talked to Fi and convinced him that now vs. later was the best time to have the talk with his ex.  He met me with some resistance (there's background story as to why but that's a post for another day) anyway...finally he agreed to do it at tonight's drop off.  Well she took the news well and congratulated him and asked him to send me congrats from her.  I'm glad he did it and I feel better now that she knows.

Glad thats out of the way!!  Speaking of ex's, we got married last weekend and FI's daughter, 12 and son, 14 had small gifts for us to open.  But in the bag w/the gifts was something from his ex.  She has some issues so he wasn't surprised when we opened it and it was a Joy of Cooking cookbook.  So FI looks at it and it didn't have a paper jacket on the outside like a new one, and he says to me after when the kids weren't around, "that was my cookbook that I left at the house when we divorced" she justed ripped out the page someone wrote on and wrote our names on the next page!!
I was like, lol, don't you think she would know you would figure it out?  He said no, she thinks everyone's stupid and wouldn't even notice!!!!!  I couldn't believe it!!!!

Yep, that and the fact that she would rather have sex with someone else besides her then husband, who is the sweetest man in the world!!  Her loss= my gain      He deserves so much better anyway and thats why I found him-things do happen for a reason!!
