2nd Wedding Date Help!

My husband wants to make up our first wedding to me on our 10 year anniversary. We were married on November 29, 2002. Next year, our anniversary comes up on a Thursday.
Should we schedule it for Thanksgiving weekend when everyone from out of town will be here? or should we schedule it for December 1, two days after our actual anniversary?

I didn't vote.  I think that people are busy during the holiday season, and unless most of your guests are in-town it might be a moot point.  They'll have other thigns to do with their families.

But here's where I get caught up:  your husband wants to make up your first wedding to you? What exactly does that mean?  Is this a celebration of your hard work getting through some tough parts in your relationship, or a celebration of your love for one another, or is this just an excuse for a pretty pretty princess day, because, by choice, you didn't have any of the trappings that the wedding industry says you must have?  There are so many thoughts I have about this I can't even type them all out. 

The definition of wedding is when the couple is married.  What you've described is not a wedding, it's a vow renewal, I think.  A second wedding is when a woman or man is marrying again, to a different spouse either due to death or divorce of the previous spouse (s).

I voted for Thanksgiving weekend, but mostly because that's when we're getting married this year.  So I'm a little biased.
