Floral Budget... aye, aye, aye!

Hello, everyone!

Long time no see ... I hope everyone is doing well.  I haven't been on the boards in over two weeks -- I think I'm caught up on posts (maybe?).

Today is my first back in wedding planning mode (after a couple of weeks off) and I'm tackling the floral and decor budget.  In advance of sending the pre-meeting planning sheet back to the florist, I would LOVE your input on an overall budget (ranges are fine) for the following:

1.  bridal bouquet (small to med sized, multiple flowers/various colors)
2.  three boutonnieres (fancy-ish, not carnations or roses)
3.  floral arrangements for cake table
4.  canopy (not quite a chuppah)
5.  draping for the atrium entrance (approx 12' x 5')

BTW, the venue provides hurricanes for the dinner tables, which are perfect for the historic setting (built in 1727), hence the absence of centerpieces on the above list.  ;)

Here are  a couple of inspiration photos:

(ignore that tent in the back ... the canopy just beyond the chairs is what I'm going for, only more shallow)

Your expertise and input are greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Cheers!

Lisa

I'd look for quotes in the $500 range, based on my experiece with florists in our area.  However, it really varies from region to region.

    Good luck!

Cool.  That's a good start ... thanks.  I'm sure I'll have to add a premium for our location, but that's okay.

Your price will also increase with the types of flowers used and whether or not they are in season for your area.  You might want to research what flowers are available during your wedding timeframe.  Also keep in mind that you can use less expensive flowers for the bulk of the draping, but keeping the colors in the same hues.

The draping will be sheer fabric, no flowers, to cover the entrance to the atrium.  I should find a picture ...

I have no idea on florist pricing because I'm getting my flowers from Costco. But I wanted to say I love the look you are going for. Very pretty.

Honestly I would know what ind of budget to go on for this for using a florist, mostly because my 1st wedding (and now my 2nd in planning) I spent $50 at big lots got tons of fake flowers and made my own arrangements. It was cheaper, they were exactly how I wanted them and keepable.

However I do want to say the pictured arrangement is very beautiful and unique. I've not seen that style before.

As far as other stuff goes my FI is building our archway/canopy and not costing much for lumber, and material is fairly cheap at places like Jo Ann's to get draperys. I always look to DIY for cheaper than to pay someone.
