I am the maid of honor, and since we were little my best friend has asked me to plan her wedding for her. I have been addicted to weddings for several years and feel pretty confident in planning one. The problem is, the bride is strongly resisting any planning. The wedding is a little over a year away, so while there is time, I would like to be getting her input on how she wants this process to go. We do have a venue and date picked and signed, (because of her mother's efforts) but after that, any time I even mention the wedding, she freaks out and gets overwhelmed, even if I just ask her opinion on one picture. How can I get her excited about planning so that I can do my job with her input?
