When do you buy Juinor Bridesmaid Dress?

Hi all!

My wedding is October 22 of this year and I'm wondering when we should go look for the Junior Bridesmaid dress? I know exactly what dress we'll be getting her, but I don't know if I should order it now because I'm afraid that she may grow out of it, even if we order it larger. On the other hand, I don't want the dress to go out of stock..

my jr bms dresses were purchased in.. Feb I think? (I know they came in in March) for my July wedding.

Her mom will probably be able to give you an idea of how quickly she's moving in and out of sizes.  I'd go ahead and take her now to see how it's fitting.  There might be a size right now that fits her fine and has room to grow... making the decision easier

Go now and ask the bridal shop when to order and how to pick the size.  They do this every day so they'll be able to suggest a size or tell you how long you have until you should order.

Our wedding is October 15, 2011.  My FI's 9 and 11 year old daughters are jr. bridesmaids.  We ordered their dresses last week.  I tend to be ahead of all timelines!  We got their dresses at David's Bridal also.  The sales woman wasn't super helpful regarding when to order, it was up to us.  We ordered the dresses a size up for both girls because the dresses in their current sizes were a perfect fit and odds are they will grow some between now and October!  Hope this helps!
