Freaking out!!!!!!!!!

My wedding us three weeks away and my dresses for the bridesmaids just came in.... In the WRONG COLOR!! Completely wrong color. The dresses were supposed to be in two months ago and just came in because if hoodoos in the factory. When my one bridesmaid went yesterday to get fitted she called mr that they are a reddish maroon when they are supposed to be plum purple!!!!!

I am beyond stressing out. The owner of the boutique realized it was an order mistake on her part and contacted the company, which is in china. They said they will have the dresses made and to us one week before the wedding!

I am freaking out and can't imagine what I would do if they don't come in. All the girls will still have to be fitted. :(

Please say a prayer that they come in!

Is the bridal salon going to take care of the alterations for your BMs since this is their mistake and they will have to rush it?

Try not to stress too much.  Think of a quick backup plan (like maybe have them all wear a black dress, maybe something they already own) and then let it out of your mind.  Trust me, the last thing you want to do is stress about these things right before your wedding.  It's not worth it.

Good luck and let us know how everything goes.

Years ago, my best friend got married and I was the MOH.  Her sis was the BM.  When our dresses came in, mine was Peach...the color she ordered.  The other dress was Blush Pink.  The bride almost freaked out.

But the shop rushed a new dress in the right color just 4 days before the wedding.  It worked out just fine.

These things do happen.  Try to stay calm.  It CAN be fixed.

Breath!  It sounds like the shop is taking responsibility and has a plan to get the dresses...  Now - get them on board for helping with the alterations.

I agree with PPs, have a little back-up plan.  (Like keep the maroon dresses until the new dresses are in your hands, or having the girls wear a black dress they already own).

I would ask the bridal shop to cover the cost of and last minute alterations to pay for the mistake. I would also ask them (more like tell them) that they are responsible for paying for dresses of the same price bracket off of the rack at the last minute if the dresses do not come in on time.
