Bridesmaid dress help...

Hi- I am a bridesmaid in a wedding in May or June.  The bride is pretty laidback- as far as dresses, she just wants us to all wear some type of spring-y color- no other restrictions on length, style, exact color, etc.  There will be four bridesmaids and we all live in different cities, one all the way across the country, and two of them I really don't know well.  I don't really know where to start in dress shopping.  I am afraid also, that she might change her mind after I get a dress and decide she wants them all the same color, or same length, or something.  I don't want to be a jerk and bug her about it because I know a lot of her relatives are already bugging her about different aspects of the wedding and she is stressed.  The wedding is in a large church and will probably have about 100-150 guests, if that makes a difference as to what I should look for.  Thanks for any help you can give me.

Well I would think short would be good because its in the spring/summer. Kneee length is comfortable without being tooo short. Also, I don't think having it in a church should make a difference what you wear but you might want to ask about that to be sure. I'd wait to make the purchase since brides do change their mind (although if she says its ok to but a dress, and you do, theres not more changing her mind allowed). And yea, can you email or facebook the other ladies?

Good ideas!!  She actually emailed us today with a picture of her dress, so that gives a better idea of the style of her wedding she is thinking of.  (She also seems less stressed than previous, I guess relatives are not being as stressful at the moment which is good Smile )  I will try to find the other bridesmaids on facebook, that ought to be the best way to figure this stuff out.  I was also thinking short/knee length.   I may also wait a couple weeks till stuff calms down a bit for her, and send her a couple of ideas too that I kind of like.  Good advice to wait a bit before buying anything Smile  Thanks everyone!!
