Maid of Honor

How do I deal with a "its all about me" maid of honor? My cousin is recently single with two kids and wants me to pay for her airfair to Vegas. I told her if she is unable to attend due to her money situation we understand. I'm not willing to pay for her for I have other things to worry about. SInce I'm not a selfish soul like her I do worry and its starting to consume me. What to do?
