Another Hair Post - With Bonus Poll!!

As I was mentioning in Lacy's post, I have worn my hair short for several years. I've been working on growing out for the wedding, but now I'm considering wearing it short because it feels more "me". I do plan on wearing a birdcage veil with a big flower or some kind of headpiece.

If I wear it long, I would want it to look similar to this (though I also really like Melissa and Joel's inspiration pic in Sparklingdiamond's post):

Oh I really like it short - it's super cute.  I think it would look really good with a bird cage veil.  Do you mind PIP-ing your dress?

I voted other for some reason but I think you should rock the short 'do only because you said it feels more you.  I think you should do what you are comfortable with.  I no longer completely understand the point of growing out your hair especially if it's not YOU.

I love the short hair and I think short hair looks great with a birdcage veil.  Although, the 'do on Lynn's blog would look good with one too.  So, hmmmmm, now I don't know....

What do you think Courts would like?

I also agree with this, especially since you stated a couple of different times that you feel short hair would be more 'you'.  I do understand wanting to grow your hair out if you are in love with a hair-do that requires length.  That being said - I'm growing my hair out and I'm not necessarily in love with any specific wedding hair-do, but I'm glad I grew it out because I haven't had long hair since jr. high and I am finding that I really like having 'long' hair.  In all honesty - I really like your short hair.

Stephie - Courts likes it short, actually.

I started growing it out for a couple of reasons, because longer hair would give me more hairstyle options, and I really wanted to have a friend of mine do my hair that day. But, fixing my own hair wouldn't be the end of the world, and it would save me money!

I think your hair looks great short, but I also think you should do whatever makes you more comfortable.

If the short hair is "you", then that's what you should do.  My regular hair stylist was asking me last week about my hair for the wedding, and I told her I want to look like myself, but the most gorgeous version of myself possible.

Thanks, ladies, I know y'all are right! I like to have lots of options, so that's why I was growing it out, but I should stick with what I know and love!

Your short hair is fantastic!  So sassy!  I say rock that short 'do.  And it will look fabulous with a birdcage veil (I always thought short haired girls pulled that off better, anyway).
