What is/was your favorite item from your wedding (could be flowers, bouts, accessories, whatever!) Hmmmm, I loved everything so I can't pick.

Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see? Ben was really excited to see his old guitar teacher--who ended up not showing. :(

What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for? I could not wait for our reveal (which was great) but our private last dance ended up being the favorite part of the night for both of us.

What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want? I didn't want to toss the bouquet or throw the garter--but Ben really did so we did them. Neither of us wanted to dance the Horah which is a tradition of Jewish weddings. There was NO WAY I was doing that.

What's on your "must play" list for the reception? "Don't Stop Until You get Enough"--I couldn't wait to hear that! :)

What is/was your favorite item from your wedding (could be flowers, bouts, accessories, whatever!)
Since we're still so far out from the wedding, I don't really have a favorite item yet, but I'm planning on DIYing my bouquet (a semi brooch bouquet) so that will probably end up being my favorite part.

Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see?
I am REALLY excited to see my 3 best friends from high school. They all got married last summer and 2 of them moved out of state, so I'm really hoping they can all make it back for the wedding.

What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for?
I can't wait for our first dance!

What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want?
I really don't want any cheesy group dances (Macarena) although country line/group dances will definitely be happening (Copperhead Road).

What's on your "must play" list for the reception?
So so many Texas country artists. Jeremy and I love live music and going to concerts (we've been to probably 50 so far in our almost 4 years together), so we're gonna try to incorporate as much of that music as possible into our reception (Bart Crow, Randy Rogers, Josh Abbott, Eli Young, Casey Donahew, Kevin Fowler, etc)

What is/was your favorite item from your wedding (could be flowers, bouts, accessories, whatever!)
So far it is our Save-the-Dates. I wish I could find a picture, but they are Trivial Pursuit-themed. The answers are all info about our wedding. =)
Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see?
There are a few, namely the friends we made at camp -- all of whom are in our WP. =)
What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for?
My sorority serenading us. =)

What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want?
The chicken dance. Boooooo.
What's on your "must play" list for the reception?
"Old Time Rock n' Roll" is my mom's favorite song. Definitely on the list. And then lots of classic and '90's country.

What is/was your favorite item from your wedding (could be flowers, bouts, accessories, whatever!) My wedding band although I did enjoy my dress.
Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see?
My grandparents. They don't come up this way very often. The people I REALLY wanted to see declined.
What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for? The married people's dance, which gave my bouquet to the longest married couple: my grandparents. The private last dance was also great.
What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want? Garter toss and bouquet toss- we didn't do either.
What's on your "must play" list for the reception? Aqualung/land- Brighter than sunshine, Jack Johnson- Better Together, Joshua Radin- Lovely Tonight, Chuck Prophet- No Other Love, Heidi Newfield- Johnny and June, DMB.

What is/was your favorite item from your wedding (could be flowers, bouts, accessories, whatever!) I'm thinking it will be my dress. Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see? I don't have one person in mind. What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for? The first dance & father/daughter dance for sure. What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want? Garter toss... I have no desire to do this and we hardly have any single friends. What's on your "must play" list for the reception? Always & Forever for first dance, Baby Blue for the father/daughter dance, Honeybee, probably some Michael Jackson and Huey Lewis, country

What is/was your favorite item from your wedding (could be flowers, bouts, accessories, whatever!) I think now that it's all set, my favorite item will be the flowers. We are having anemones, peonies, hydrangea, lepto, snapdrgons, lilac, forget-me-not, ranunculas, etc.

Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see? I haven't seen someone I consider my big brother in nearly 13 years. We can just never work out travel to work (he is in Canada). I am really crossing my fingers that he makes it.

What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for? I know this was for reception but all of those traditions are meh to me. Instead we have something in our ceremony that I am stoked for. We are going to have our pastor ask our mothers to join us in the beginning for "the final kiss as singles" just as they gave us the first kiss when we were born. They have no idea :)

What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want? My family disapproves of the money dance, so I guess that is out :(

What's on your "must play" list for the reception? Journey ;) and Better Together by Jack Johnson. Other than that, I trust Jeff.

Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see? My MOH, she has lived in Cali for the last couple of years and I have really missed her.

What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for? Private last dance.

What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want? Money dance

What's on your "must play" list for the reception? Don't Stop Believing and lots of Beatles

What is/was your favorite item from your wedding? I love my dress/veil, but that seems obvious. I also love the little black "Bride" tank top I wore while getting my hair/makeup done, and again when we went to a bar after the wedding. It's pretty simple -- not in-your-face-wedding-y like my wedding dress -- but when I look at it I remember all the excitement of that day.

Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see? The woman that babysat me every weekday from birth through 10 years old. We're still very close, and I was so glad she could make it all the way here to TX.

What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for? When DH told me he wanted a traditional wedding reception (I wanted to elope), I tried to think about what I wanted out of a reception, and I teared up thinking of a first dance with DH and with my dad. So I was really looking forward to that.

What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want? I did not want a garter toss. It gives me the heebie-jeebies because where I grew up, the groom went there with his teeth ... and whoever caught it had to put it on the thigh of the woman that caught the bouquet. I was always terrified of catching it and having some stranger touching my legs.

What's on your "must play" list for the reception? CCR - "Heard it Through the Grapevine" and T.I. -- "Dead and Gone" -- my two favorite songs!

my venue....jk!!! No I'm really excited to see his cake. Also, so far I am in love with the photographs from my bridals and engagement! The stuff that last a long time is what I'm looking forward to the most after it's said and done.

Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see?
My Chi Rho friends!!! OMG!! It's been WAY too long since I've seen any of them!! :(

What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for?
toss up between private last dance and daddy/daughter dance! I'm doing a slide show as we are dancing :) I'll be giving that to him eventually :)

What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want?
I don't like the fact the garter/bouquet toss is always for single people. Every wedding I've gone to, no one gets into it. I'm spicing things up and ahving everyone-single or married...young or old join in. Plus I'm still debating over tossing it from the balcony :)

What's on your "must play" list for the reception?
Country :) My pick for the song is Just Dance by Lady Gaga.

The first look, DH said it was his favorite part.

What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want?

An big exit. I did at first. I made ribbon wands. I told my mom I didn't want to do it and she still packed them. Then at the wedding I told my doc and Colton that I didn't want an exit. I was fine with it. Somehow they were passed out and used. It wasn't a big deal, I was just sooo confused on what was going on. I like the pictures so I'm glad they were used.

Usher- Yeah Yeah Yeah
Cupid Shuffle

Our INVITATIONS! Oh, boy, how I can't wait to mail those suckers out. Script on cream linen paper, calligraphied envelopes, oh, hello, elegance!

Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see?
My mom's side of the family--I grew up with them and they are always a good time.

What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for?
Cake cake cake cake cake cake cake

What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want?
No bouquet/garter toss. No bouquet because I have few single friends and it's so awkward, and the garter toss makes me feel uncomfortable.

What's on your "must play" list for the reception?
Don't Stop Believing is a MUST! Also, lots of Sinatra--we're old people. Not literally, but figuratively. Of course, FI and I also wanted to play CeeLo's "F**K You" but we figured it was inappropriate, sadly. But it's such a great song to jive to!

What is/was your favorite item from your wedding (could be flowers, bouts, accessories, whatever!): my dress. I was so in love with it!

Is/was there a guest you are/were REALLY excited to see? I was so thrilled that almost all of my OOT family was there, but one of my friends from USAF Basic Training made it up from San Antonio, I was really excited to see him.
I did scream ridiculously loud when I went over to the knottie table, which I think might have scared some of the older folks. Yes, I was a 'woo girl' at my own wedding reception.

What is a reception tradition you can't/couldn't wait for? the Father/Daughter dance

What is a reception tradition you definitely DON'T(or didn't) want? I really didn't care to do the bouquet toss since I rarely see single ladies get up, but I felt like there were enough people there and I really wanted my sister to get it. I got a little carried away and it hit the chandelier and the knotties brawled over it. Sissy was sad.

What's on your "must play" list for the reception? 'Angel' by Dave Matthews Band and 'Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not' by Thompson Square. The lyrics to 'Are you.." are so spot on for us and J emailed me the lyrics at work the week before and said 'I have to dance with you to this song, it is so US." which was so sweet (especially since he HATES to dance!)
