Printing Invites

I purchased my kits from Michael's and have wasted half a kit because my printer is printing them crooked. I really just don't even want to mess with them at this point as I have been working on them all day. I would like to get these out ASAP. Is there a local place around Arlington or some where near by they will print on these kits?

Thanks Girls

I had the crooked problem too--I'm not sure what caused it, but it corrected itself after a few copies. I wish I had a place to recommend!

I went to Hallmark behind the parks mall and they do printing.
I dont know if you have to purchase their paper.

I also have to print out my invites and worried about the crooked problem.

I also did DIY from Michael's and my friend Laurn at http://www.cbspress.net/ printed my invites for me. Give her a call and see what she can do. Tell her Meagan Whitener sent you. Im not sure if they are still doing small jobs... but give them a call for sure and check!

fedex office is the best place for printing!

Hmm mine printed OK but I have a printer that loads from the top and adjusts to different paper sizes.

I agree with PP's suggestions, also Party City has a sign in their invites section that says they can print anything.   I don't know if you have to buy your invites there or if they will just print but it might be worth a call?

I know this thread has been inactive for a while, but I'm also having the same problem with the invite kit. My printer isn't recognizing the pre-cut paper size and is giving me problems. Did you end up taking them somewhere to get printed?

Did you try changing the paper type to cardstock?  Also, I would try cutting out the size on regular paper and making it work before putting in your real invitations.  In addition, there should be an option to set paper size.  If none of those things work, I would also try to set it up on an 8.5 x 11 document and then setting your manual feed try to feed just your cardstock.  If you have everything centered right, you won't need to use the template they gave you... you kind of just make it work on your own... I hope that helps somewhat.

Also... if nothing else I've called Mirage Printing and asked if he'll print on pre-cut invites before and he does.  I'm not sure how much it is, but it may be pricier.  He's in Lewisville if you want to call.

After posting, I continued to play with the settings and I finally got it to work. I changed the paper size to A5 on the printing preferences. I also changed the setting to feed manually instead of printing from the paper tray. It worked like a charm. I was so happy.
