A while back on was on here asking for advice on what the Mother of the Groom should wear. My FI now Husband did not want his mother to wear a purple summer type dress, not very appropriate for our wedding; at least in our eyes (my mother wore a formal typical Mother of Bride gown). But I intervene and told him let her wear whatever she wants and he dropped it. Well our wedding was Saturday and she showed up wearing WHITE!!!! Bright White non-formal dress. I just had to laugh and share the story.
