Can't find the right color!!!! HELP!

So i'm getting married in April 2012 and i want a spring wedding. I want my bridesmaids to be in a short dress...in GOLD! I really love the idea but we went to try on dresses and the sample color was too pale or the fabric didn't have the gold I want.
Where can I find or what company makes a pretty gold bridesmaid dress? I'm starting to think that I'll never find the right color!!!! I need help! Please!

    You can look at stores other than bridal stores. Many people will go to a dept store or a store like Ann Taylor for instance and find a cocktail dress they like and go with that. So widen your search to department stores, other dressy shops you like, look online, etc.

    Where did you go? DB had a pretty gold lace-ish dress last year when I went. They may no longer have it though. 

    Are you wanting like BAM blingy gold or like a champagne-y gold? If you want the bling, you may need to look in department stores' junior or misses section for better results.

    I want a gold darker than champagne...but your idea of departement stores is good!! I think I'll have a better chance. I'll let you girls know what I find! Thanks!!
