Vendor Reviews!

I wanted to post vendor reviews because they have helped me so much during planning. All my vendors pulled together and made our wedding go off without a hitch! I had no worries about anything. Everything was taken care of and all I had to do was enjoy my special day! My family enjoyed themselves as well. I couldn’t have had the perfect wedding without all my great vendors! Our wedding was on 3/31/12. I wanted to share my reviews since they helped me so much.

A++ Ceremony – St Monica Catholic Church – The church was beautiful and very easy to work with. They allowed us to get married there without being a member and do not have a lot of rules you have to follow.

A++ Reception – Eastern Hills Country Club – Very easy to work with and affordable. You get a lot for your money. The food was great and service was awesome! They took care of all the setup and clean up. Teresa is the coordinator there and she made sure our reception was beautiful and set up all of our decorations. She coordinated the whole event and I didn’t have to worry about a thing!! They include your bridal cake, food and alcohol in your packages.

A++ Bridal Cake – Eastern Hills Country Club – cake was very delicious! We had some left over and it tasted just as great the next day. We never did a cake tasting so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But we loved it!

A++ Grooms Cake – Cakes by Letty – We used a family friend who has been making cakes out of her house. She has been doing it for years and we love her cakes. We told her what we wanted and she went above and beyond on my expectations! She has a facebook page with all of her cakes if you are interested.

A++ How Appropriate Floral – We found her from The Knot. I had an idea in mind but wasn’t sure it would come out the way I planned. We had a small budget for our centerpieces and we were so impressed with our arrangements!! She did a fantastic job and kept me posted throughout the day. She gave our coordinator a bunch of extra flowers to add to our tables at no cost.

A++ Makeup by Chrissy – Chrissy came to our house early that morning to do our hair and airbrush make up. she was very affordable for airbrush. We loved how everything came out! I was worried we would run out of time since she was doing it by herself but she did it very quick and it lasted all day! My bridesmaids showed her a picture of what they wanted and she ran with it! I have her contact information as well.

A++ DJ Mutemor – He was an awesome DJ! We knew from the very beginning that we wanted to use him. He DJ’s at Zubar on Lower Greenville and a few other bars. We gave him a playlist and he told him what kind of music we wanted. He was able to mix it in throughout the night and kept the dance floor going!

No grade yet - VEK Photo – We haven’t seen our pictures yet but from some of the sneak peeks he showed me the day of, we can’t wait to see them! He was everywhere taking pictures throughout the night and our guests noticed it as well. I can’t wait to see all of our pictures!  He was very easy to work with and was always on spot for pictures.

A++ Becky Fowler – Alterations – she truly is a sweet person! I loved her and she was able to work me in to get me my dress back so quickly! All those great things I have heard about her is so true!

A++ Vistaprint – Save the Dates – We used the post cards and the quality was great. We actually got them sooner than expected.

A++ Flowers and Freshness.com – Bouquets and Bouts – I was so surprised in their service and quality. We placed our order 10 days before my wedding. I was so nervous because I was not sure how they were going to look. I never used an online floral wholesaler and we could not afford to use our florist to make all the bouquets. I def. recommend using them! They came out great and followed up with me after delivery to ensure the quality. The roses were huge!! I have never seen the larger roses before. They are really affordable as well!

A++ Shutterfly – Guestbook – Our book came out great and I loved it. Again this was my first time using Shutterfly and I can’t wait to make another book.

For SaleI am selling my petticoat I bought from Alfred Angelo. It’s one size fits all but it’s the biggest poofy petticoat they have. Selling for $75. Also have two tall trumpet style vase that we used for tall arrangements, selling $25 each.I may have more stuff for sale but have not went through all of our wedding stuff yet.
