Who walks Mom down the aisle?

If I understand right, normally parents walk up the aisle to their seats in the front. Who walks the mother of the bride down the aisle? My stepfather and my only brother are both walking me (bride) down the aisle, and I just realized that doesn't leave anyone for my mom.

What's the "normal" thing here? Any suggestions for someone to accompany my mom?

One of the groomsmen should walk her to her seat. That is what I am used to.
 My daughter was married in a church in South Florida- and they had some different Hispanic traditions. I was escorted down the aisle by the best man and we actually were the beginning of the bridal procession.

You should ask her who she would like to escort her to her seat. It might be her husband, who could escort her and then return to escort you, a close family member or a groomsmen. It also would have been fine to ask both her and your stepfather to escort you.

At my DD's wedding my son walked me down then returned to the other groomsmen.

We had one of the groomsmen (my Mom choose who) walked her to her seat.  Ask your Mom who she would like to have escort her and go with her request.

I agree that you should ask her who she'd like to walk with. We had all the married couples (grandparents and his parents) walk in together, but obviously my dad was walking with me, so my groom walked with my mom. My coordinator was very confused that I wanted the ladies actually escorted by their husbands instead of having the men awkwardly follow their wives with ushers.

I was supposed to have one of my ushers walk my mom down the aisle, but I totally forgot to mention it to him, so my mom walked alone.  Oops.

We had the ushers escort the mothers. I have never seen a groomsman do it. If they are walking the BMs down the aisle, that idea might not work so well.

For my wedding they had my brother (a groomsman) and my brother-in-law (also a groomsman) walk their mothers down first, then they went up the side aisles back to walk down with their bridesmaid.

My brother (usher) will be escorting my mom....If I were you I would ask your mom if she had a preference.

my brother (usher) walked my mom.  H walked his mom.  As PPs have said whoever walks her can circle back to walk again, so you don't have to limit your choices to people who aren't already in the procession.  At my brother's wedding my mom and dad walked in with him, but my grandmother wanted my dad to walk her in, so he walked in g-ma and then circled back to walk in with my mom and brother.  (G-ma didn't make that request at my wedding, I guess she figured my dad had more important things to do, so she was walked by my cousin (another usher).

<div>Sometimes people have usher groomsmen and no sole ushers. My grandma had actually never heard of having "just" ushers, as we are having in our wedding. </div>

My son walked my mom down the isle, and my step-son walked my MIL down. In most weddings the ushers or groomsman do it. You can always ask her, though!

The best man walked me down the aisle and then went back to where the bridal party was waiting to come in.  He did an awesome job!

I´m getting married in Spain, and here, not only the father of the bride walks with the bride, but also the mother of the groom walks with the groom.  That´s very important to them.

So, what we´re doing is that they´re going first (groom and his mom) and they´re waiting up there and then my mom is walking with his dad.  Then after everyone, it´s me and my dad.

Great point about asking my mom, and that I could have someone walk her down the aisle then come back for me. Somehow, that never crossed my mind
