    Just be polite to her.  Treat her like you would treat any person you are meeting for the first time.  It's the day before your wedding, so you may not have much time to interact with her.  Just be yourself, she will realize why her son loves you so much to marry you!

    Ditto PP. What are the circumstances going to be upon your first meeting? Are you staying with her/her family or will you all be in a hotel together? 

    Your profile says your wedding is April 2, is that still correct?

    Yes, the date is correct. 

    We are meeting for brunch before they see a matinee performance of a musical my fiance is playing in.  They'll be others there as well - her husband, my future father in law, his wife and her daughter, my future sister in law and her boyfriend, and my mom. 

    Should be interesting...
