Maternity BM dresses?

Hello,

I am trying desperately to find a maternity dress for a July wedding. It just needs to be black, no other rules. I will be 30 weeks, so a regular dress with a empire waist will probably not cut it at that point. Any suggestions? I have seen Dessy and Alfred Angelo online, but not in any nearby stores.

Have you tried an actual maternity store?  Does the dress have to be long or short?  If it needs to be short a maternity store should have something for you.  Also, do you have Davids Bridal near you?  If so they should have something that will work...click here!  I think the first dress in the second row would be the best option, because it has an empire waste and also straps so that a bra could easily be worn.

What about having your BM select a gown from a department or maternity store? Does it really need to come from a bridal salon?

There are many choices on this website.  I would imagine most of these gowns are available in black.  The search, here, is for all the dresses under $200.

Thanks, everyone. I am the bridesmaid, not the bride. It definitely does not need to come from a bridal salon, but our local maternity stores here do not have anything formal/dressy, and I am a plus size so that also makes it much harder.
