We went bridesmaid dress shopping over the weekend. My maid of honor (she's my cousin) has to travel about 2.5 hours to get to the bridal place so I invited her mother along, too. We also did this for the Wedding Dress shopping and it was fine. After all the girls had tried on their dresses we were starting to look at jewelry and next thing I know, my aunt is trying on a wedding gown.
I couldn't believe it. It was NOT her day. This day was for the girls. On top of that, the place was crowded and other brides needed the room. I kept my mouth shut for my mother's sake, but it really bothered me. And now her daughter posted the picture on facebook as a part of an album about my wedding.
Is it right to be upset about this? Or is it "normal" for non-involved parties to try on wedding dresses???
