Bari Jay true to size? - Also posted in Attire and Accessories

Does anyone have experience with Bari Jay bridesmaids?  I looked at the size chart but I know they look like they run small but have heard they run big.  Same thing happened with Dessy on a BM dress.  Entire wedding party could've worn two sizes smaller than chart said and our dresses were giant.  Even with alteration the boning was enormous.

My BM are wearing Bari Jay and almost all of them ordered a size above what they usually wear, that was based on the measurements at the different bridal salons they went to so I'm thinking they do run small.

I wore a Bari Jay BM dress last year in a friends wedding and I thought that it was pretty true to size.  I was between sizes when they measured me and went with the larger size just to be safe.  I had to get the dress altered when I got it, but not a whole lot.

My dress was taffeta if that makes any kind of difference...I know that other fabrics "give" a little bit more
