I live in Canada where the climate is extremely dry. I am getting married in Georgia in June. I have extremely unruly curly hair and am hoping to have it blow dried straight for the big dAy. I'm looking for some tips on keeping I from turning into a huge frizzy mess. Thanks

My hair is thick and very wavy,not curly, but I use Bumble & Bumble Blow Dry (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P297554) in the humid New York summers, or just when its drizzling out.  You work it into wet hair before you blow it straight.  It does a great job of keeping my hair smooth and sleek for 2-3 days until I wash it again.

I just use aquage gel on my wet hair and then blow dry. It works nicely!

If you wanted to spend the money, get a brazilian blowout! It works wonders with unruley hair. It makes your hair smooth, sraight, and so soft!
