Lotion before Airbrush application?

i have heard both. Nothing on your face prior to airbrush makeup. Primer or your normal lotion to help the airbrush application be smooth

    I just got up and washed my face and used my normal moisturizer on my wedding day (I have dry skin however).  My MUA applied the primer herself.

    If your doing your own airbrush i would suggest to use a moisterizer/primer, if your skin is dry then the air from the airbrush can make it appear drier so yes this step would be a must... If you have hired a professional makeup dont worry about it, her job is to prep and prime your skin prior to the makeup application, if she is not doing that then your not getting the proper service.
