Tanning and Nails Timing

I'm going to get a spray tan and get my mani-pedi done the same day the Thursday before my wedding.  I'm not sure what order to do them in.  On the one hand, I don't want my cuticles to be irritated or mess up my nails if I get them done before the spray tan, but on the other hand, I don't want the spray tan to get messed up on my hands and feet if I get that done first.  Opinions or advice?

I would probably do nails first. I know from my spray tan, it feels sticky the rest of the day until you shower (and they tell you to wait about 6+ hours before showering). If you get a pedi and soak your feet/calves in the tub for an hour, a bunch of your tan will probably soak right off. Before the spray tan, they give you a lotion to put on places where you don't want the tan (like your palms, etc) and after mine they also gave me something to rub off anyplace where it got that I didn't want it. I would probably just wipe off your nails and toenails right after the tan and around the cuticles, and the tan shouldn't take there.

Yeah nails first or the tan will wash off. Use the barrier cream on your nails during spray tan. Honestly though, I'd do them on different days if you could.

I'm the complete opposite than PP   (Just adds flavor on these boards lol).  I'm getting my spray tan that morning and then doing my nails in the afternoon.  This way I don't have to worry about my nails getting messed up from the spray tan AND the spray tan (VERSA) will have time to "set" into my skin before I have to wash my hands and such.  That being said, I'm not doing a pedi so I don't have to worry about my legs soaking.  So... maybe do them different days if you can?

Definately do the nails before the spray tan. You are not supposed to get wet or even sweat after you have the spray tan done.
