Friday Chit Chat

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  It felt too weird to do our normal FFF thread after Thanksgiving Day, so I hope chatting is okay.

Anyone back from hitting up the BF deals?  I didn't see a ton that caught my eye in the ads so FI and I stayed in this year.  I did buy some adorable Carter's PJs from Kohls for all of my neices and nephews for $7.22/each and I almost have all of FIs Christmas shopping done.

Spending today cleaning and working on schoolwork.  FILs come in this afternoon.

Oh man, it's only Friday.  What a great weekend.  

We had a full house yesterday at the ILs.  It was awesome.  HEB was open until 2, so we sent FIL on a shopping trip and he said the whole store was just full of men on their cell phones running around frantically.  Oh, Waco.

We're getting ready to go have brunch with some of the ILs friends and then H and I are going to brave the mall.  Gap is having some pretty good online deals right now!

I do have a flame: I flame hthrlarson or whatever for consistently giving bad advice.

No black Friday shopping for me either. There wasn't really anything that caught my eye so I caught up on sleep!! FI works at Toys R Us and he said a lady came in to the store all bruised up from fighting over a waffle maker at Walmart. RI-DI-CULOUS!

The rest of my weekend will consist of two-a-day workouts, laundry and some working from home FUUUUN! lol

The Gap site is moving so slow for me! Guess it's not meant for me to online shop

Ditto crash... where's the bad advice thread?  I finally made it over to PS the other day and read back on the mod drama.  Wow. Maybe not get wrapped up in an online forum so much...?

Ha, Amanda, I'm laughing imagining all the guys running around on the cell phones in the stores. ;-)  My brother was thinking about heading to the little Walmart by my parents house last night to buy a little motorized car for my nephew that was 60% off, but he's like me - if there's a long line, I'm done.  I don't have the patience for all of that.  I'd rather pay a few more bucks for something on Amazon and have it shipped to my doorstep for freeee.

ditto. When I asked for vendors- can you guess the one and only vendor she sent me.. in a pm nonetheless. 

Speaking of, I am sorry about my neglect for the vendor site- I have been busy hosting thanksgiving and am just plain exhausted (and had to work today too). <div>

FI and I did buy our Christmas gift to each other today though- a Dyson animal vaccum. It was about time. I thought we could wait until after the wedding, but we just decided to do it since we will be hosting a lot before the wedding. I hate growing up- I want to go back to the fun gifts, not the ones that make me work. </div>

And Amanda, I'm thinking that person is a vendor. That company is the only thing they talk about in their posts, other than the 2-3 really bad pieces of advice.
