Panty-Garter Toss?!

I was just browsing the boards and watching the video on the side here and saw where the groom pulled out a pair of "granny" panties, if you will, from under his bride instead of the usual garter! I thought this was hilarious and quickly told my fiance...he said we should totally do it!Do you think this is tacky? I mean it's not like I would actually wear the panties, they would probably be stuffed in my garter somehow. But it would be meant as a joke...we could keep it as a suprise to everyone but myself and him. I think it would be pretty funny! And it would be kept as conservative panties...no thongs or anything that could offend.What do ya think?

I think it's funny.  I went to a wedding once where the groom somehow managed to smuggle an afro wig under there.  Everyone thought is was hilarious, except the bride, who wasn't in the loop.  It probably depends on your circle, but if you think that even granny would get a giggle, go for it.  I think it would be funniest to use a pair that obviously are not yours.

Love it! That is a great idea! I'm thinking about it as well. Anything that will keep the guests' attention and make them laugh. Go for it!!!

I don't like the idea, but I also hate garter tosses, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I'm also not a fan of the idea but you know your crowd better than I do. If you think people would think it's funny and it is "you" then do it - if not, I would skip it.  You want people to laugh but at the same time it might come off weird in the moment.

Thanks everyone for the responses! It makes me feel better about doing it !!As much as I'd like to keep it as a complete surprise to everyone, I might have to ask the MIL and Mother before so that they will be able to tell me if the family will be offended. I hardly know any of my future family...they are such a HUGE family! But the ones that I do know would probably get a kick out of it!

I would love to see this at a wedding.  It's so funny but i don't have the guts to do it myself.
