Help a Houston Knottie: Photographer {Edited}

Good morning! As instructed in the FAQ, I've read back a few pages, and I've also checked out your vendor list website. {Great site, ladies!} ANYWHO....

I am looking for a photographer for a friend. I don't have any back story, but I know that the photographer that she had booked didn't work out for her. We're both in Houston, so it's a semi-long distance vendor search. The big problem is that her wedding is NOVEMBER 12! Yes, less than a month away!

Do any of you have any recommendations for her? She's looking in the $1200 or less price range. She needs at least 8 hours. I know because it's last minute, all of the super awesome photographers are probably booked, but I knew I had to ask my fellow Knotties for a little assistance.

EDIT: My friend is in Houston, but she's getting married in Dallas. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that.

Well on such short notice I'm not sure that our recs will still be available.

I'm not sure how much they charge but you could check with sixfourteen.

Is she in Houston or DFW?

Any photographer will travel for a fee.  Evan Godwin is a college student who has gotten some good words on here.  He'd be in your budget.

You could try Krauska Photography in Mesquite. 
I don't know for sure what they charge, but my Mom won a package from them in a silent auction and they were good pictures, plus they're nice.

You could also try Josie Roby (Captured by Josie) or Ashley Munn (Ashley Munn Photography).  They are both based in Waco but would surely travel.  Josie did my engagement pics and Ashley does a ton of weddings for girls I graduated with.

You can check with Mallory Morgan Photography. She's in Fort Worth so Dallas isn't far.
