To wear make-up or not?

I was wondering what yalls opinon is. I dont wear make-up at all. I wore make-up maybe a total of 3 times which was in high school  and my friends did it. So I was wondering if I should wear make up on my wedding day?

Re: To wear make-up or not?

  • Depends on what you are comfortable. Go to a salon and have a makeup trial and explain to them that you don't wear make-up but would like to consider trying it out for your wedding. The difference between every-day and wedding-day is that you may want a little bit of makeup to make your pictures look better. But, again, it all depends on what you're comfortable with. If you don't like makeup or you were blessed with amazing skin, show it off! Don't get transformed into someone your future hubs won't recognize.

  • My daughter was 15 and had never worn makeup on my wedding day.  My MUA did a very light airbrush application on her and listened to what she wanted and in the end she looked beautiful, fresh, and just like herself.  You can definitely wear makeup without looking or feeling "made up" or unnatural.

  • Try it out first. I would for the sake of the photos.

  • I think make-up just adds a more polished look. it doesn't have to be a lot. Something to keep your face from being shiny, a little extra something to highlight your features.

  • You don't need to look made up.  But some blush, bronzer and eyeliner will go a long way towards making you look less washed out and more polished in your photos.
  • I agree.  Try it out before the wedding to see what you think.  Ask for a very natural look.  Try just enough makeup to enhance your features without looking "made-up".

    Show off your amazing flawless skin. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />
do a make-up trial and if you're not comfortable wearing it, then skip it, maybe just mascara or eyeliner to make your eyes pop and lip color/gloss.
