Eyeshadow

What color eyeshadow are you wearing for your wedding day? I have brown hair, medium skin with yellow undertones. I usually wear a dark brown/purple, so I don't know if I should go brown or purple...

Re: Eyeshadow

  • Purples make brown eyes pop (I have brown eyes too).  Peachy pinks and deep purples would be something I'd do myself.  Definitely experiment (if you're doing it yourself) or have your MUA try some different combinations of what she might think looks best.

I would try to go with something that possibly imcorperates your wedding colors.
Or, just one of the colors.

Unless her wedding colors complement her features, this probably isn't the best idea (I'm picturing a beautiful tiffany blue wedding with a bride looking very 80s).

Yeah, my colors won't work with my skin tone. My debate is whether or not to go all natural-neutral colors (brown) or add a subtle color (dark purple) to my wedding day makeup.

  • Maybe the purple- especially if it makes your eyes stand out.  I think purple is good for making green eyes pop.
My eyes are hazel & something with a gold color makes the color of my eyes come out more.

  • I have brown eyes I'm wearing purple. Purple eyeshadow is my favorite color to wear.
  • Have you tried Smut from MAC? It's a beautiful purpley, brown :)
