Marriage Lesson #1

How to get rid of his ugly-a** college crap you hate:

Give it to his best buddy (who was our best man) who finds it equally beautiful. Thank goodness the midget-in-sunset photo is out of my home!

Good luck future Mrs. Best Man

That's awesome and really funny, Marissa!

I've been convincing Nathan to give his crap to his little brothers for years now. Surprisingly, it usually works! :)

I have to sneak it out.  Since I'm in the house without him in the afternoons, sometimes something just goes missing.

The biggest thing I was fighting this time last year was throwing old food out of the pantry.  And by old, I mean exp. date in 2000!!!!

I let mine have his own room. He calls it an office. I tell him that just because there is a computer in there that doesn't make it an office.

DH also has an office.  Also, if there are one or two key things you want to get rid of, suggest that they'd make great White Elephant gifts at Christmas.  I'm looking forward to getting rid of USB-powered rotating lights (two orange lights that are like police cruiser lights - so pointless!).

Marissa, that's too funny!  Great pic.  I have had to sneak things into the garbage gradually.  Although, he's now built himself a room off the garage, and I could care less what he puts in there :)

Haha, if we had an extra room, I'd let him keep it. But we don't and the dude already has 2 road bikes we HAVE to keep inside (because one is worth like 5K) so I have to deal with a bike corner behind a trifold screen in our dining room. So the picture was definitely going to go...

Beth - yep, they're woot lights.  We also have an epic stash of woot wine bags because we thought we were buying 3 at $1.99 a piece.  Apparently it was $1.99 for a 10-pack, so we got 30 wine bags.  Any time we bring beer or wine to a friend's place for a party we take the drinks in a wine bag and leave it there (unless they've already been saddled with one, in which case they force it back in our hands as we walk out the door).
