Airbrush makeup?

Pros/cons for having this done? I am not sure if I want this for my wedding date or not. My other option is to go with waterproof/water resistant makeup

The pros are that it is lighweight while providing great coverage and is very long lasting.  The only con that I know of is that it is more expensive.

I loved both of my airbrush makeup applications but there are some who haven't liked it.  The key is having an experienced technician apply it.  If you can afford it, I would do a trial run first and see what you think.

Agree with stephiehall's comments above.  The only thing I would add is, whether your artist uses water or silocone based, will determine look and longevity of the application.  If you have never had airbrush done before I would highly recommend it.

I have been advised against it simply because I typically wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, and the major benefit of airbrush is how light it is. I LIKE the feeling of having a lot of makeup on. I have a lot of acne scars from adolescense. So it really wouldn't be worth it to me to pay extra for airbrush.
HOWEVER it's worth noting that I'm in the minority and most people love it.

I had an airbrushed makeup trial and did not like the results at all. I wear traditional makeup everyday, but very light and natural looking. The airbrushed makeup left a cakey look on me. So I had a different trial and actually had the silicone base airbrush foundation traditionally applied with a brush. Looked perfect and stayed on all night. I think when the airbrush gun was used, it was too much. You just need to go with what works well for you and keeps you looking like yourself.

I just got airbrushed makeup this past Sunday for my friends wedding and I Loved IT. I dont wear makeup at all and when I do I go to a well know makeup place in the mall. They always leave my face VERY OILY and it doesnt stay. I will def be getting airbrush again. It felt like I didnt have any makeup on at all. But it is more expensive.
