Fake Semi-Permanent Lashes

My makeup artist/hairstylist for my wedding has a service that I've never heard of: permanent fake eyelashes called Nouveau Lashes. They're semi-permanent lash extensions that can last up to 6 weeks.

I have to admit, I'm tempted to try them.  What do you think?  Would you do it?

Re: Fake Semi-Permanent Lashes

  • I wouldnt.. only because I've heard of some stylist doing them wrong & the customers lashes falling out!
  • I've seen them before. Honestly once the lashes start to grow out (after the first few days) there is a giant crease in your eyelashes and you can see the glue. Nothing natural about it.

  • I would stick to the regular fake lashes to be on the safe side, I wouldnt want my real lashes to fall out! I did the trial with the regular fake full set and it was nice and added the needed drama to my makeup look! Good luck.
  • I did them with a Groupon a couple months ago, and while I loved the effect, I didn't like the maintenance that was required. After 2 hours in the chair to have them applied, I started having lashes fall out within a couple of days. I also didn't like the fact that I couldn't use mascara, because even when using the most gentle remover, it pulled out lashes.

Stick with the regular false lashes -- much easier!
