We are having an office Christmas party on the 17th, but we don't bring anything.  Food, drinks and hotel room are all provided.  :)

We usually just get sandwiches brought in on top of the potluck.

I might make tater tot casserole or a pie...or something that might heat up well.

New camera came in the mail yesterday, we're OFFICIALLY moved into the new house, and I got invited to join a degree-specific honor society that will look really good on my resume!

I work in a small office (me, my boss, and 1 other person), so we're probably just going to do a dinner at my boss's house.

We're having our faculty/staff Christmas party at this gorgeous historic hotel in downtown Austin. It's going to be super classy. And since I'm on the team that is putting together the invites/signage/etc., I got to go to the tasting at the hotel a few weeks ago. Delicious! (and it got me excited about wedding planning and wedding tastings all over again - man, I love food)

Our office party is going to be at the VP of marketing's house. She scares me and, like, half the office. One of my coworkers says she thinks the VP cultivates this air of intimidation. She's not pushy and she doesn't put people down - she just makes you terrified that you're going to say or do something stupid around her. So parties at her house are stressful.

We're having a Christmas party at one of our principal's house, and it's potluck.  I'm going to make some mac and cheese and some cranberry dessert squares.  I'm excited because my new campus is really awesome, but also sad because this is my last Christmas party in this district.  =(

Apparently the owner of our company used to host a big party at his Preston Hollow mansion and pass out drinks and shots, and then one year a girl threw up on his doorstep and one of the men had a wreck in his company car.  Now we have luncheons and alcohol isn't allowed.  It's still a nice time though.  :)

Ours is on the 19th at a sports bar, but I'm betting good money that it doesn't include beer. =(

Which makes it an odd location. Usually it's at Maggianos.
