Texas-Dallas and Ft. Worth

small reception venue DFW/MID CITIES

HELP!

I need a small reception venue in DFW area that is classy but not over the top. We were thinking about Kirby's steakhouse but it will be a little over our budget. We are going to have approx 25-30 people. Any ideas would be appreciated. It could be a restaurant, or a place that allows food to be caterted. We are only inviting family so we don't need to have a dj or party type reception.

Any ideas?!

Hi, Kirstin!  What's your budget for the reception (either overall or per person)?  Is there a particular part of DFW you're interested in?

  • The two restaurants girls here have used for their reception that come to mind are Maggiano's and El Fenix.

  • Hey! We were hoping to keep it under $50 per person, not including alcohol. I have been doing some searching and came across a few possibilities! Thanks for your help, keep the ideas coming! :) We are having our wedding in Euless, TX which is right in the middle of Dallas and Ft Worth, so hopefully something that is closer to the middle of the two places would be perfect, but not a must!
  • Check out Napoli's in Downtown Grapevine, Rio Mambo also in Grapevine.  Maybe the Bob's in Grapevine, Farina's in Downtown Grapevine, Brio in Southlake.  You could also look at Boi Na Braza in Grapevine too.
  • Buca di Beppo in Southlake would be perfect.

  • What about something like this? http://www.vineyardsteakhouse.com/privatedining.html

You could really do any restraunt with a private room. I second Maggiano's as a good suggestion. With the family style setting you can usually get away with spending less. I've gone a few times for Holiday parties and they even let you take home the leftovers.
