Brides Beware Of Toothpaste!

Have you ever heard of the saying "If you put toothpaste on a pimple, it will help make it disappear (or heal it)"?
Beware!
My friend is getting married in a week and thought if she put toothpaste on her pimples, it would heal up and no longer be visible or red. As a matter of fact, it did the opposite! She had a slight allergic reaction to the toothpaste and now has small, round, red patches on her face! And to make matters worse, the acne is still there...

So please test this acne clearing theory WAY before your wedding, to know exactly how it will effect you!

P.S. Tea Tree Oil is a natural alternative to get rid of pimples.

  • Yikes!! I sure hope that her reaction goes away soon :( That is not good at all!
I have tried that before, and I think it really depends on the toothpaste. I agree, always test is out..... just like colouring your hair... do a spot test!

  • I've done it before and it worked for me, but everyone's skin is different. You're supposed to use the white pastey kind, though, not the gel... and not any kind with cinnamon flavor, etc.
