After some failed make up trials and just not looking like myself, I am now considering doing my own wedding make up. This is making me SO nervous but I'm wondering if in the end, I just know my skin best. I do normally wear a significant amount of make up (mostly because I have quite a bit of damage/spots on my face that need coverage), but I am hoping I can make it look more special than every day. I had some questions for anyone else going the DIY route:
- My main concern is making it last! Does anyone know of an aerosol setting/finishing spray? My fear with DIY is that it won't last through crying, an overly "kissy" family, and a long night of dancing. I've tried Model in a Bottle as well as the Urban Decay spray which both do work well, but I was wondering if there is a finer aerosol spray out there that would really lock everything in.
- Also, can anyone suggest what the best eyeliner & mascara is that won't run or smudge? I know nothing is truly invincible, but I want to find something that can resist tears.
Any suggestions about how to keep the look going for lots of fun (and photos!) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks SO much!
