Hair Extensions

Hi Ladies!

My hairdresser just quoted me on 18inch extensions for $300 and to purchase 4 individual pieces which are $20 each and then her installation fee $150. Total being $530. I was wondering if this seems right?

I was taken back on how much they are but I have never done this before. If you don't mind letting me know if this seems correct.

Thank you!

Is that for permanent extensions?  Like the ones that are glued or sewn in and remain in your hair?  If it's for permanent extensions, then yes, but if it's for clip-ins, you can get good ones at Sally's for around $100.  That is what I am wearing in my wedding pics.

I have looked into permanent extensions here in Dallas, and the cheapest I have found are $700.
  • Hi!

I believe they are permanent. My hairstylist has had them in since November and her's looked great. So I trust she will do an amazing job just wasn't sure if the price seems right but you cleared that up for me!

My hair has been thinning a lot and makes me sad. I think I am going to go through with it! So excited!

    Thank you!

Yeah, I've wanted them for a long time but I just can't afford them.  For $700, they only last a few months and then have to be redone.  Maybe one day!
