How much did your professional whitening cost ?

I am trying to figure out what whitening route is the best for me. I have talked to a few area dentists to get prices, but they are pretty spread out, so I am not quite sure what is a good price.

I asked my dentist about the same thing.  It was going to be about $500.  But it's mostly for the molds they have to make.  She said if I had the molds it would only be like $50-$100 for the whitening gel.  I can't afford that so I'm just using the Crest white strips and have gotten lots of complements on my teeth

The crest white strips are amazing. I used them and like Lindsay got tons of compliments! I havent used them in 4 years so I'm gonna start again once I get a coupon.

I also agree that Crest White Strips are the way to go.  My teeth were stained due to antibiotics used when I was very young.  When I was in high school, my parents paid a lot of money to have my teeth professionally whitened.  It didn't work.  I ended up having my upper front four teeth bonded to cover the stains.

I recently had the bonding removed and my dentist performed microabrasion on those four teeth ($80 per tooth).  No more stains, completely white teeth.  He also recommended the Crest White Strips, which I've used and love.  And I also use Colgate Optic White toothpaste now.  My teeth have never been whiter.

I'm having my dentist do it in a few weeks. I think it's about $200.

I'm super fortunate that my sister is a dental hygenist and was able to convince her dentist to give me the bleach for free and she created the molds for me.

If you're interested I can ask her how much her office generally charges for the whole kit and caboodle though?

Mine was about 170, but that was for an in office treatment, no molds or take home treatment. I noticed a difference but I would like them to be whitter. If you do then in office the hygenist told my that your teeth are more suceptable (sp?) to whitening for a few days after, so using whitestrips for the next couple days helps.

I used the Crest 2 Hour whitening kit- and that stuff really worked. My teeth are the whitest they've ever been.   I also use the Vivid White toothpaste and have noticed a difference with that as well.

Hi Ladies, to everyone who has used the Whiting Strips, did you have any sensitivity after using them, I would REALLY LOVE to use them, however I have heard of some having sensitivity to hot and cold things after using them...thanks!!
